We are hoping to resumes workshops very soon. Keep an eye on this page and follow us on social media for up-to-date events, details and fees.
Workshops are group classes dedicated to a particular topic, type of sling or carry. If you prefer a 1-0-1 consultation, please contact us to book a sling library or private consultation.
In this workshop, you will learn all about the benefits of babywearing, safety, how to dress your baby in the sling, pros and cons of different types of slings, feeding in slings and get to try on lots of different types of slings with support. It’s a lovely way to connect with your baby, learn new skills and meet other parents!
These workshops are designed for a specific type of sling and for you to learn different techniques to front, hip or back carry with it (e.g., back carrying with a woven wrap or buckle carrier, introduction to stretchy wraps, back carrying with a buckle carrier).
Babywearing Awareness for Professionals Workshops
This workshop is aimed at perinatal and early years professionals who work closely with parents in a support role (e.g., doulas, health visitors, midwives etc…) and want to gain more awareness of how slings can support new parents. We go over safety and what to look out for, different types of slings and benefits. This workshop is not designed for you to learn how to teach parents how to tie slings, but for you to gain awareness.
Next workshop: Wednesday 26th of May and Friday 11th of June, 10am-1pm, Bethnal Green. Get in touch if you’d like to book a space!
