Workshops

All our workshops can be run on demand. We need a minimum of two paying participants (couples don’t pay double).

Workshops can be tailor-made to you and your friends’ needs, and can be run from Wrap a Hug HQ in Whitechapel or your home.

Front carry workshop

Saturday 25th of February, 2pm-4pm, Wrap a Hug, Whitechapel E1, ran by Mel and Azzura, £30 per person

A two hours workshop to learn how to carry our little one in a long woven wrap in two front carries: a front wrap cross carry, a very supportive carry great for long walks, and a front cross carry, a pre-tied, poppable carry perfect for quick ups and downs.Woven wraps can be borrowed for free during the class.

Back carry workshop

Sunday 26th of February, 10am-12pm, Wrap a Hug, Whitechapel E1, ran by Mel and Azzura, £30 per person

A two hours workshop to learn how to carry your baby on your back in a rucksack carry.

Back carries are really comfortable and handy, leaving you hands-free!!

During the workshop, we will learn how to easily and safely bring our baby on our back, how to tie a rucksack carry and different ways of finishing it. We will also learn how do to a double hammock, which is a more supportive carry for bigger kids.

It is preferable that you have some experience with carrying your little one in a woven wrap. Let us know if you are new to wrapping.

Babies should have good head control. Check with us if you’re unsure if you can back carry.

Woven wraps can be borrowed for free during the class. Hire can be arranged at no extra cost depending on availability.

Front and Back carries workshops

Hello all!

Azzura is going to be in London this week so we have organised 2 workshops for you!

Front carry workshop, Thursday 24th of November, 4-6pm, Masiel Baby, 56 Abbey Gardens, London NW8 9AT

A two hours workshop to learn how to carry our little ones in a long woven wrap in two front carries: one very supportive and the other one very quick and pre-tied, perfect for up and downs and traveling.
Cost of the class is £ 35 per person.

Woven wraps can be borrowed for free during the class.

Woven wraps are the only carrier which can be used from birth to any age of your child.
They are the most comforrtable and nurturing way to carry our babies.

Back carry workshop, Saturday 26th of November, 1.30pm-3.30pm, Flat 12, 67 Vallance road, London E1 5BS

A two hour workshop to learn how to carry your baby on your back in a rucksack carry.

Back carries are really comfortable and handy leaving mum’s hands and arms free!!

During the workshop we will learn how to easily and safely bring our baby on our back, how to tie a rucksack carry and different ways of finishing it.

Price £ 30 per person.

nb: we will be running the workshop from Mel’s place in Whitechapel. The flat is on the third floor with no lift (buggies can be left in the entrance at the owner’s own risk). Three cats leave here but will be locked away in a bedroom.

FWCC – Front Wrap Cross Carry
Suitable from birth to any age of your child this carry is really comfortable and supportive.
FCC – Front Cross Carry
This is a pre-tied carry, veri handy while traveling or for quick carrying. Also helpful for easily breastfeed in it.

BACK CARRIES WORKSHOP

We will learn how to get our childern on our back safely and easily.
We will learn and practice two techniques to carry our children on our back with a long woven wrap.
RUCKSACK
The most simple and quick carry to start with.
DH – Double Hammock
a double layered carry very supportive and suitable for heavier toddlers.

Coming soon to Belsize Park: Wrap a Hug’s singing classes for pregnant women and mums with babies.

Learn how to improve your breathing technique, your posture, your muscles relaxation skills and of course how to sing correctly!

Woven wraps will be available for new mums to try during the classes.
