Mother and Baby Sharing Circle

The Circle is for all pregnant, birthing parent and new mums and their babies to come and openly talk about their feelings of experience of pregnancy, motherhood and matrescence.

The Circle involves creating a safe, empathetic and non-judgemental environment, where active listening is encouraged, comfortable silences are embraced and emotions free to flow.
Mothers/birthing parent can talk about and share anything they want; this is a safe space to let it out, laugh, cry, empathise and feel supported.
What is shared in the circle, stays in the circle.

Helen and Mel facilitate the sharing circle. We are mothers and perinatal professionals who run the Tower Hamlets Family meet-up. Mel (Wrap a Hug Sling Library) is a babywearing consultant. Helen (BirthWright) is an emotional health coach, placenta remedy specialist, hypnobirthing teacher and doula. We are also both breastfeeding peer supporter and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in all things parenting and motherhood.
We hold the circle at the Canvas, 27 Old Ford Road E2 9PJ in Bethnal Green 1.30pm to 2.30pm on the dates advertised in the event.

Herbal tea and biscuits/cakes will be available for a little boost, please bring a re-usable cup with lid.
There is space for buggies though try to come in a sling if possible as space is limited. We have mats, blankets and bolsters to make you and baby comfy.

To attend, please book a free ticket via the EventBrite link. The Circle is free but we alwas appreciate donations to help with small expenses. Please get in touch ASAP if you can’t attend so we can offer your ticket to another mama. If you want to attend and the event is sold out, please get in touch so we can add you to the waiting list.

Love, Mel and Helen
